How does time tracking with TimeinPRO work?
Users or employees can select a project and identify a specific task under that project. TimeinPRO will start tracking time to that task once the record button is pressed.
TimeinPRO delivers random screenshots to the dashboard of the managers at every time interval the admin sets (every 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.).
When no mouse activity is detected, a question will pop up asking whether the user is still working or not. Failure to answer the question within the specified time will automatically stop recording the time of the user.
What information is collected by TimeinPRO?
TimeinPRO measures employees’ productivity by collecting the following data:
- The time worked for the day, for the week, and for the whole month
- Top web and app visited and used
- Screenshots of your computer or mac
- Mouse movement and clicks
- Number of times you pressed the keyboard
Does it still work when offline?
Yes, users can still run TimeinPRO even when they are offline. The data will be uploaded to their timesheet when connection is restored.
What if I forgot to press the time recorder?
Users can record previous activities by adding time manually. Just click the Request Manual Time button in the application and attach a photo as proof of your work. The admin or manager will receive an email whether to approve or decline the request.
Where are screenshots stored? Can they be deleted?
TimeinPRO has teamed up with Amazon Web Services for customers’ data protection. The screenshots will be uploaded to Amazon S3 immediately. The data can only be viewed by the managers and users and cannot be viewed by third party individuals.
Users and Managers can review screenshots on their dashboards. They can delete their screenshots and the screenshots of the people under them and the corresponding time worked will be deducted also in the time sheet. Users may also use the blur feature to still retain the time worked instead of deleting them.
